What can still be charged after the trip

• Unlimited km — distance is never charged extra.
• Fuel is noted at handover and return. No fuel charge is calculated on this site — settle any difference with Anand Self-Drive.
• A late return is charged by Anand Self-Drive at the counter. There is no automatic hourly rate here.
• Damage is assessed by Anand Self-Drive once the vehicle is back and charged at cost — it cannot be quoted in advance.
• Anything charged after the trip comes out of your deposit first; only what it exceeds is billed to you.

If you cancel

• Nothing is charged until you pay. A reservation holds the vehicle for 1 hour; if payment is not confirmed in that time the hold releases itself and you owe nothing.
• While the vehicle has not yet been handed over and the booked dates have not already run out, you can cancel from the same WhatsApp chat. An unpaid hold simply disappears and you owe nothing; a paid booking releases its dates immediately and Anand Self-Drive is notified, along with the vehicle's owner where the vehicle is not Anand Self-Drive's own.
• Once the vehicle has been handed over the booking can no longer be cancelled — not from the chat, and not by Anand Self-Drive either. The only way to end it from there is to bring the vehicle back and close the trip, and the rental is then settled in full for the dates you booked: an early return is not re-priced down to the days you actually used.
• Raahvi holds none of your money and cannot refund it. Anything already paid — rental or deposit — comes back from Anand Self-Drive directly, on their terms. No cancellation fee is calculated or collected on this site.
• What Anand Self-Drive keeps if you cancel is in their rental terms — read those before you pay.

Before the keys are handed over

• The full rental is payable before the vehicle is handed over.
• A driving licence in your own name must be on file, verified, and in date on the day — without it the vehicle is not released.
• Anand Self-Drive takes a security item at pickup — cash, an original document, a parked two-wheeler or a cheque — and hands it back at close-out.
• A 360° walkaround of the vehicle is filmed at handover and again at return. The trip cannot be closed without the return one, and closing the trip is when the deposit is worked out.

What Anand Self-Drive collects about you

• Your name and WhatsApp number, from the booking chat or the “request to book” form on this site.
• Your driving licence once you send it: the number in full, the photo or scan, and the holder name, date of birth, licence class and expiry date — either as Anand Self-Drive types them in or as the RTO check returns them. Self-drive hire is a regulated trade — the Rent-a-Cab Scheme 1989 renter register is built on the licence.
• An Aadhaar only if you choose to send one. You never have to: no vehicle is withheld for a missing Aadhaar, only for a missing licence. If you do send one, the photo or scan is not kept at all — it is deleted the moment the record is written, and only the last four digits of the number are saved.
• The document images Anand Self-Drive does keep — your licence, and anything else you send apart from an Aadhaar — are stored whole. They can only be opened by Anand Self-Drive or by you, signed in; the link alone is not enough for anyone else.
• Every WhatsApp message this number receives from you, written down before anything replies to it: the full text, and the map coordinates of any location pin you share. The answers you give the booking bot are also kept against that chat while a request is in progress. This log is not deleted on a schedule, and asking for your documents to be erased does not clear it.
• Payment screenshots you send in the chat, and what Anand Self-Drive records as received.
• Odometer and fuel readings taken at handover and return.
• When the vehicle actually goes out, your licence number, its class, its expiry and whether it had been verified are copied onto that booking as Anand Self-Drive's statutory record of the hire. Asking for your documents to be erased clears the vault but leaves those copies in place — Anand Self-Drive is required to keep the register.
• The 360° walkaround video and photos of the vehicle at handover and return.

Terms & Conditions — Anand Self-Drive 1. Valid driving licence + KYC mandatory at pickup. 2. Security deposit is refundable after the car is returned undamaged. 3. Fuel: return at the same level; shortfall is charged. 4. Included km per day as per your booking; extra km is billed per km. 5. Overspeeding is monitored. Speed above the limit and any traffic violation / e-challan during your booking is your responsibility and will be billed to you. 6. Late return is charged per the rate card. 7. Damage/accident: inform us immediately; charges as per assessment.

You accept these when you confirm a booking. The exact wording above is saved with your booking, so a later edit cannot change what you agreed to.
